Mie Ayam 61: Eating out in Bandung
Bandung is only about 2-hour drive away from Jakarta, so during my 2.5 weeks stay in Indo, I was able to go to Bandung three times to visit grandma.
During this visit, we went to eat at Mie Ayam 66 to eat some delicious noodles!
I told grandma that I was craving for bakso goreng (directly translated as fried meat ball) at Mie Naripan in Bandung, but it was a bit far from where she lived. So she recommended this place, which she said the bakso goreng was delicious as well. Note: some of these menu items contain pork.
Same open concept, and displaying of food in the open
There's the fried meat ball. Beside it, is the marinated pork ear (my favourite!)
Marinated pork ear and marinated samchan (pork belly)
This one is the lomie baso pangsit (noodle in sweet &savoury soup with meatballs and dumplings). Generous portion and reasonably priced at CAD$3.50, although i feel like that's a little pricey for Indo's price, but what do I know...
This one is the mie ayam manis, with sup bakso on the side (dry noodles with chicken, and meatballs and dumplings in soup on the side)
Oh hai, porks ear :)
And this is the meat balls. They are pretty darn good. But then again, I have forgotten what Naripan's taste like because I haven't been there in the past 5 years. I'll take this one with an open heart (mouth), though :):)
