Yakitori Daikichi (Kyoto)

We tried to squeeze in a yakitori snack when we were in Kyoto.  With our tight schedule, we didn't have much time exploring the alleys (Yokocho), which we promised ourselves will do the next time we're in Japan!

We had 1 free night in Kyoto before we met up with my parents, so we went for a walk to this place called Yakitori Daikichi.  It's a very cozy yakitori place, and because we went there early (6pm), we were the only ones there.  Pretty soon after, there were a few guys who joined us in the resto.

Yes, they have English menu, which is great; otherwise I guess we can just point at the things that we want.  We figured in s satay format, it would be pretty hard to guess which one is which.

We had lots of yakitori, and drinks.  They were really good!  A bit on the expensive side for small pieces of meat, but from what I could see, it's pretty standard price.  I kept on asking for more chicken cartilage (chicken knee). and the beef tongue was really yummy, too!!
