The Simon Pearce Restaurant is out of this world!

When we were visiting BF's brother in Hanover, we ventured out of State for lunch...We went to Vermont.  This sounds so bad-ass, but really, crossing the state line can be done within 15 minutes of driving ;)

Right after we stopped by the Quechee National Park for some photo-taking, we drove to Simon Pearce Restaurant.   Simon Pearce is famous for his glass work, but he also has a restaurant at this location.

The view was absolutely breathtaking!   You get to sit by the water, and just enjoy the scenery while you eat.   It's highly recommended that you come to the restaurant as early as you can.  We arrived prior to the opening time and hang out by the gallery, little that we know, there were a few customers who just started lining up by the restaurant, instead of looking around at the gallery.

You can also go to the lower level, and look at the shop where they created their glasswork.  It is very labour intensive.  And I absolutely envy the creativity and artistry that these guys have.

Anyway, back to the restaurant.   The food was super-duper delicious.  EVERY SINGLE THING that we ordered, tasted like heaven.   The food that they serve is also one of those farm-to-table concept.  The ingredients come from local farms, which makes me love them even more!  The dessert was mouthwatering and delicious.  I would lick off the leftover creme brulee from the plate if I could!

This restaurant is one of the best restaurant, hands down.  Enjoy the pictures, and be prepared with tissues, just in case you started drooling ;)
