Landmarc: the review

OK, here's another restaurant we tried during our super-short visit to New York in Summer of 2013.   The Landmarc is located right in Columbus Circle.  It's owned by renowned chef Marc Murphy.   Awesome, awesome view of Columbus Circle, if you can come a bit earlier.   Unfortunately for us, the food was just OK.  They were a bit bland on our taste buds, but mind you, we're used to Indonesian food which are generally spicy.  We wouldn't mind going back there to try their dinner menu, though.

But here's an incentive to got to Landmarc:  1) location, it's so easy to get there.  There's a subway station right by the entrance to the building.  2) there's Bouchon cafe right by their door step.  LOL.  So after your brunch/lunch, you can have yourselves some dessert and coffee.  3)  If you want to escape the heat after you're done eating, then just stay inside the mall and walk around the mall (there's a Sephora and H&M there. HAHA).  You can also go to the concourse level of the mall and visit Whole Foods :)

I think this was a croque madame.  Best tasting dish out of everything else we ordered.  And of course, this was the one that I ordered.  LOL.

Eek!  the picture is blurry.  The burger was a bit bland

Eek!  This picture is out of focus.  sigh.   fail.   Anyway, this is an omelette of some kind.  also a bit bland.

Mussels and fries.   The sauce was on the lighter side (we like a thicker, heavier sauce), but delicious
