Cirque Du Soleil: Quidam
Cirque du Soleil: Quidam
Where: Rogers Arena, Vancouver, BC
When: Sunday, Mar 3, 2011
Time: 1 pm
Mit and I went to watch Quidam this afternoon! This was an early birthday present for her (the actual birthday is still a couple of weeks from now). We were both excited as this would had been our first Cirque du Soleil perfomance EVER. I know, shame on us....we'd never seen Cirque du Soleil prior to today even though they have come to Vancouver many times.
It was awesome! I was amazed with what people can do with their bodies. OMG. There were moments where I was holding my breath during most of the act just because I thought it was scary and dangerous. Yet it was so exciting!
I was also mesmerized by the live band and singers. Holy crap. They were good. Awesome awesome songs and instrumentals.
We were also lucky that we were seated so close to the stage! Mit was able to purchase the tickets soon after it went on sale, so we got a floor seat, 4th row from the stage! 4th row baby!! And you know what's even better? The persons sitting in front of us were little girls who were shorter than me, so I had no obstacles in front of me whatsoever. Beat that!!! :)
I'm now waiting for Cirque du Soleil: Michael Jackson later this year. I am so watching that performance.
