Gyukatsu Motomura - Roppongi location!
One of the things that we absolutely want to try when we were in Japan was gyukatsu, which is a deep fried breaded beef filet. Anything that is deep fried automatically gets an extra thumbs-up from me :)
Gyukatsu Motomura is arguably one of the best places to try gyukatsu. We tried to go to the one in Shibuya, but the line up was out of this world, and we were too hungry to wait. Thankfully we found out that they had just opened a brand new location in Roppongi. So off we went. It was one of the best decision we made on this Japan trip, because there was no line up at all in this new location. It looks like it just freshly opened; everything inside looks brand new.
It comes with a side a bowl of barley rice & miso soup, shredded cabbage, potato salad, picked vegetable, and grated yam. It's unlimited rice and shredded cabbage, so feel free to eat your heart out and ask for more! It also comes with sauces on the side, wasabi, mustard, and rock salt.

How beautiful is this?!
Each order of gyukatsu comes with your own personal hot stone. They recommend that you sear the outside of the slices, and dip it in the sauce (or you can also put some wasabi or rock salt), and eat it warm with the barley rice. I personally liked it to be raw, so I would only grill it for a quick second.
