My bestfriend's wedding: the bridal shower

It's time to blog about my bestfriend's wedding.

As you all know, I went back to Indonesia last month for 2 weeks, to be a part of my best friend (Magda)'s wedding. Me and my other bestfriend, Jana, were the maid of honors. We were extremely honored to be a part of your wedding!! :)

I'm going to start posting based on the chain of events that would eventually lead to the wedding day, and the days after.

As soon as I arrived in Jakarta, I was booked to attend the bridal shower as well as dress fitting (the dress MUST fit as we only had 3 days before the wedding). LOL. I got lucky. The dress did fit. *phew*. The bridal shower was held at Magda's house, attended by family members and close friends only. The food was amazing!!! I had asinan, mpek2, sate, lemper, and kwetiaw siram on the same friggin' day. That was THE best!

Note: magda also goes by "maggie", because when she was still in Vancouver, not a lot of Canadian can say 'magda'.....so she decided to tell people that her name is maggie. I still call her magda though :p
