Aerosmith concert
Aerosmith (with guest Joan Jett & the Blackhearts)
Where: Rogers Arena
When: September 16, 2010
Time: 7.30pm
As promised, here are the pictures from our most recent concert: Aerosmith (with Joan Jett & the Blackhearts as the opening gig). As expected from a rock concert: it was rocking! And I'm glad that I got to go with Mit, as she was having fun and dancing and singing out loud. (there are people who choose to sit down and keep quiet during the whole concert....not fun!). And thus she inspired me to go along with her....so there I was, forgetting about the whole 4-teeth-extraction ordeal. LOL. I had to ask Mit several times during the concert whether I was drooling or not..you know, just to make sure, I also had some Kleenex handy in my hand since my lips were still numb.
We were ecstatic to go see Aerosmith because they`re a legend! (come on, you gotta admit it, they are somewhat a legend). I, personally, were more interested to see Steven Tyler hit those high notes like what I hear from the radio or CDs. Lo and behold, he did not disappoint. He hit all those incredibly high notes perfectly. However it would be nice if he had conversed and engaged with the audience a bit more. Fortunately, though, the romantic Joe Perry paid it all off; he was so sweet, genuine, and vocal in expressing his personal love for Vancouver (and for Canada in general).
We also did something unique this time: the legend and the audience paid our tribute to John Lennon and worked together to wish him a happy, happy birthday :)
